Hope House

I thought I would add a few pictures of the quilts that PQA and our church took to the Hope House. We were able to take over 100 quilts and pillow cases. The kids treated us to a wonderful concert. We are all so blessed to be a part of it.

December Meeting

During this month we were all given our boxes back with all of our blocks. Some of us were able to lay out the blocks to see what our quilts might look like when sewn together.

September Meeting

In September we had finished some tops for the Hope House. This one is for a girl.

Here are a couple of the Plus Sign quilt tops.

Gaylene made this fun Flip Flop wall hanging from shoes that members donated. There was enough shoes that she made two. They both went to our youngest members, Nicole and Hali. Congrats girls!!

We had a guest quilter that night, a friend of a member. She was leaving for college so and made this quilt to go on her bed. Wonderful!!

August Meeting

August meeting was a hard one. We lost a family member. Here is Dawnel's finished quilt. At the bottom you can see the family members all lined up. You can see the couple with their eight children. Mom you will be missed.

Shannon has introduced a Hope House Quilt Along. We are going to be making a Plus Sign Quilt. All the members that signed up meet together to cut and swap squares.

Here is an example of the blocks we are making as a group for a boy and a girl for Hope House.

Shannon made two blocks for Rula then realized she made them wrong.
So She made two more the right way!

Nicole made a block for Dawnel.

Dawnel made a block for Nicole.
As you can tell the pictures are not loading right, LOL!!

Some of  the missing block pictures are for blocks that are the same pattern over and over again. Blocks for Shannon, Shigae, Sheryl, Karyli, and Gaylene.
